Where we are FROM or where we ARE?

I am FROM Oklahoma, have lived in a dozen states or so and a few foreign countries before fulltimimg, and stayed a bit in most of the rest since. Right now I am in east Texas. On forums like this I don't change my sign block every time I move as it is too much trouble. On direct post sites like yahoo I can change it quickly/easily in Outlook.

Born in Indiana, raised in Kentucky, lived in Florida, spent 11 years in Germany, the last 15 years in Oregon, soon to from where ever the mood strikes. Does that answer your question? LOL

Misunderstood

I guess I should have been a little more clear on what I meant. I meant that as a new member checking in that it would be nice to say where you are from on your new member post. That way you wouldn't have to check their profile.I know to look for locations that are posted but, a lot of new members don't have that listed. Just trying to not make myself look to stupid so, I guess I'll quit before I dig to big a hole.

That was a great idea A new member might not look at your info... Or not know where to look... ie. Member profile... I will add my " where I am from" info when I greet a new member... Nice thought !!!! D
