Good Morning from the banks of the Yellowstone River, 35 miles north of Yellowstone Nat'l Park.

No, my wife hasn't gone crazy -- yet!

I just registered on the forum and this is my first post here. We live in southeastern PA, but spend the summer at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park (the best in the west!) in our RV until we go back to our home in early PA.

You guessed it -- I fly fish for trout. I have a Clackacraft driftboat, and spend at least part of practically every day somewhere on the river, or on one of the smaller streams closeby.

My wife is an avid crafts person, and presently does lots of beading, although she has done a wide variety of other "crafty" things - including trying to keep me in order.

We've owned an Airstream for the past 4 years, which we will be selling shortly, and will be buying a large 5th wheel for next summer (so my wife won't go crazy) tripping over all the stuff I (apparently, according to her) leave lying all over our trailer.

John, welcome to iRV2.

Spending the summer doing what you like isn't too hard to take.

John,
Welcome to iRV2, a really great site loaded with information on all sorts of stuff relating to rv'ing that may interest your wife also. There are many topics here, as well as some of the most helpful people I've ever met.

My husband and I have been flyfishing together for about 30 years now and I love it as much or more than he does. We spent many summers during the '80s in the Yellowstone area, probably our favorite area in the USA. Our plan is to retire this spring and be there all of next summer. For the last 17 years we've only had a month to spend there. Can't wait until it's May - October.

One of the considerations when we purchased our motorhome was priority storage & space for all the fly tying materials, as well as good light for tying. We both also have other crafty hobbies.

Hope to see you stream-side next summer.

Hello John and welcome to the forum.

When you get home to PA and are inclined, contact me. I'll treat you to some great fly fishing on Spring Creek in State College in the near future.

Hi John, and welcome to the forums.

We're also from Pennsylvania and just last year had the pleasure of spending a week in Yellowstone. The first part of that week was just outside of the NorthWest entrance near the town of Gardiner. It may be the same area you are as the river sure looked good for fishing.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay there and safe travels back to PA when you decide to hit the road again.

John and wife,
Welcome! You will learn so much on these forums and the people here are just the GREATEST

At one point in time we owned 300 acres in Montana near Yellowstone and we loved it there.
Have a safe journey home.

Karen
