Winnebago Tour Vs American Coach Allegience

Hello. We have had an RV for a year now and are thinking about selling it for something a little bigger. We looked at a Winnebago Tour 42QD and also an American Coach American Allegience 42Q. It appears that the American has a much higher price tag brand new than the Winnebago. I am wondering why. We are looking at buying one slightly used and have found 2 similar priced ones ($250k for the winnie and $239k for the American) which also seems odd considering that the Winnie is alot less expensive than the American new ($380k vs $600k respectively).

i think you might want to recheck the retail price on the allegiance. it was on the bottom of the food chain before fleetwood put the revolution in that spot. jim

You're right. It is the American Coach - Eagle. I need to make sure I am comparing apples to apples with these different models.

Thanks for the welcome.

It's all so confusing when looking at a new RV. My husband and I are information overload. Hopefully we can get over to the RV show this coming up weekend in Tampa.
