Woops forgot my new member checkin
Morning all....Wife and I after many years of talking about it finally decided to buy our first RV. Like many of you we have three dogs and the only way for us to go anywhere is to take them with us. The first rig is a 2002 Pace Arrow 36' V10. The rig was in remarkable condition with only 31K on it and so far no surprises or disappointments. Currently actively looking at this forum for tips on improving the handling and the info and response has been great.
Will try not to clutter up the forums with redundant newbie questions by searching previous posts. Thanks IRV2

Welcome! Sounds like you got a peach of a motorhome. The Ford chassis forums will have tons of info on handling improvements.
The first thing that I would do is weigh the axles and then adjust tire pressures according to the load inflation tables for your brand of tires. Next I would take it to a good truck tire shop and have a front end alignment done.
After doing those initial steps, take it for some test rides and see how the handling is. If it's not up to your liking or handling is uncomfortable, you may need additional or upgraded anti-sway bars, upgraded shocks, steering stabilizer and maybe a trac bar. It's a journey and somewhat trial and error but can be fun also.
If it shifts down into a screaming 3rd gear at small inclines such as overpasses you may want to get a 5 Star tune to correct that. The forums will be your friend!
