Please, please, please may we have a way to preview posts before posting.

Every single other forum I participate in has a preview before posting feature.

There are scads of times when this is a great big time feature. The code is always a bit different on any forum. It's so much easier to try something when you can preview before posting. When I was on dial-up, I'm sure I would have given up - try, post, doesn't work, try again, not there, try again, post again....... about 5 tries or more before it comes out the way you had it in your mind's eye.

Why isn't there a preview feature?

{{{no I wouldn't realy give up my wheels to get a preview, but I sure would like to have it.}}}

While that is indeed a nice option,at the present time our software provider does not offer it.
They are constantly working to update the software and offer updates,we will keep our fingers crossed.
Thanks for your suggestion!

Thanks for the reply, but, but...

All other forums I participate in have preview. just google "L..... K...." Certainly, putting the quotes in makes the search more interesting. What amazing number of places clone off of the 'big group'. I counted 10 real forums, not copies, which is more than I thought.

Methinks this forum was started too early. 'Tis time, past time, IMO

What I'm saying is that computer software is always getting upgraded. I've run across/experienced other situations where those early to use a version of software and who customize it to their needs may well be slow to get amd apply an upgrade.

Or the possibility that the preview option may exist in another version of the software is something that comes readily to mind. & that is especially since it exists in so many other places.

L/K, after reading your inquiry I visited the web pages of our site provider. On that page the provider discusses "up and coming" features they are working on, and there's even a "what would you like to see" suggestion area.
Our site provider is working to make their product better and they're addressing the suggestions that have been made. At this time there has not been an announcement as to when and what they will roll out.....Keep your fingers crossed!

We appreciate your thoughts and if you have a particular question on another issue,please feel free to ask.

Ah, now that sounds more like it.

I'm sure you all have your ways to check other sites, but given how much I check around, if you need any additional 'testimonials,' please ask.
