ad blocker not working

Who ever manages this site has done something to it that prevents the ad blocker from working. I uninstalled it and reinstalled and still doesn't work. Fully understand site needs to generate profit but 14 ads per page!! REALLY??? Don't have any other site that loads so slow.

We haven't done anything and ad blockers are still working.

No problem here, I think the problem might be local to your Browser.

My adblock stopped working a week or so ago. When I checked I found my filter file had disappeared. Had to reload filter and now all is good again. Filter file is separate from program so just reloading adblock does not get you a filter file.

Dealing with a computer "dummy". Can you help? Using windows 7. How can I reload "filter"? I did reload ad blocker but you are correct it didn't help.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I am running Firefox so this is what works for me. If you are running Internet Explorer it may be different.

Select Tools then Add-ons manager then Adblock Plus then Options then Filter Preferences then Add Filter subscription then use the down arrow to select filter I used Easylist then hit add.

Hope that works for you. My Adblock stopped working when Firefox did an automatic update. Adblock was still there but the filter file disappeared.
