No, I just don't read too many sections here is all, particularly the vendor section since it predominately does products that I don't traditionally have an interest in.

I'm actually viewing this from an administrator position myself, being the root admin of another RV forum on the web that also deals in paying advertisers/sponsors.

I wanted to have a heads up if I see the person in question applying for advertising with our group so I can warn the owners of a known reputation for a particular vendor.

I was sent a PM on the subject, so I know who it is now, so thank you to the reader who helped me out .

Me too! Some say I am rather "thick". I never was good at taking hints.

I tend to navigate using the 'Recent Posts' box in the right hand column, and read what's interesting.

Ramblin, you must have your window set up different. I don't see "Recent Posts".

[moderator edit] Ignore user does me no good as while it doesn't show what the user said it still shows that the user in question has posted. My curiosity gets the better of me almost every time.

Best to just not look in the first place.

That snake oil reminds me of how POM was touting their juice could "prevent or cure" prostate cancer. Only their tests showed those results, they provided the grants to do the studies and they eventually had their hands slapped and had to remove the claims and tests from their website. Now all the "research studies" have been moved to a new site with only a link from POM.

On USER CP, Edit Options, the very bottom choice is to Turn Off Right Column. Try it.

Thanks Dunner, I'll keep that in mind but I've gleaned a lot of good information from threads that I've found on that element that I would have missed if it wasn't there. I'll just try that "restraint" thing I guess

Read, read, read... You can turn it off so you don't even know he post. No more yellow line saying he has posted but is blocked. It works.

I might turn on the right hand column just to see what I'm missing. I do New Posts and Today's Posts.

???? How does turning off the right column make posts disappear? I like the right column as I said below.
