I have the same problem and I see the weclome to until I open a thread in a forrum and they it displays the empty login box again however filling it out and logging in from there has no effect once inside a thread.
I am still using XP and IE8.

I am only allowed a to quote and when I do everything is fine until I click on submit and then it seems to go into a cartesian loop for a few minutes not displaying my replay until I back out of the thread and then open it up again.

Try deleting the iRV2 cookies in your browser,
clear your cache,
check the "Remember Me" box when logging in
and set your browser's security to med-high.

I had already cleared the cookies and cache however I usually don't click on remember me and will never lower security.
That said, clicking remember me has resolved this allthough that is not how I prefer to have things set up.
Thanks for the assist.

niel, clicking remember me on a site like this is safe. as im a internet secuity expert, webmaster, i understand your method of thinking. as clicking on remember me for a bank site, ect isnt a good thing to do. as the info that had to be given to join is not that personel, so feel safe in doing what you have done.

Folks, we use cookies to keep you logged in at page changes. If you are seeing extra ads or content ads (underlined text with ad links) you are getting logged out when you change pages on the site.
It's possible that some of you (depending on your computers security settings) may have old cookies stored from before our server move last week.
Steps to fix this issue (not all may be needed):
Empty your temp internet files (browsing history)
Log out of iRV2
Log back in and click the remember me button.
If you are still having trouble, you may need to specifically enabled cookie exchange with the forum in your browser settings or your system security settings.
