It sure would be nice if there was a way to have threads with no activity close after a few months so that 3 years latter someone doesn't post and bump it back up. I realize this isn't a big deal, but when the original discussion/problem was in '06, not really relevant today.

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll take a look at this.

What sort of RV topic or problem from a year ago doesn't have some relevance today?

... guns, WalMart camping, driving with the propane on?, 50 to 30 amp pigtail, how do i fix this problem?, delamination, my silly mistake #34, .., ...,

i think that until they build RV's from some new spaceage membrane and the RV's run themselves, .... that someone would be hardpressed to find some topic in the "way back there area" that doesn't have some shread of importance for some other bloke right now (?)

i used to enjoy yanking a thread from the WAY-BACK and running it back up the flagpole

We might be able to set up a warning so that anyone posting to an ancient thread would have to click "yes I know it's a really old topic" before their post loads. This would help with accidental posting to old topics but still allow someone who really wants to resurrect and old topic to do it.

How about creating within all communities "old thread topics"??
