I'm curious to know if anybody can tell me if the classifieds are working? By that I mean, is anybody getting any responses? From the ad page. I know I've had lots of views, but no responses. And when I email the question in, I get no response to that, either. When I've had others send a comment, thru the ad page, I never receive it. Just wondered if anybody else has found it to be working.

I myself posted two classifieds in the past two days, so I know the system works.

There are three of us administrator types that check the webmaster mail, so if there's been a question asked and we may have missed it as spam, please ask the question in this topic and we can get you an answer.
I get sometimes upwards of 50 emails a day and while I use Mailwasher, sometimes something legit gets washed....

Thanks for the quick response. I can only imagine how much work is involved.

Would you do me a small favor? I also have two ads posted. Would you go to one of them (say the 2007 Excel fifth wheel) and go to the bottom, and send me some sort of response? That would let me know that the response system is working. Thanks.

'Rebelsbeach' and I tested it last night pursuant to this thread, it worked fine.

If there indeed was an inquiry sent to the email address you entered into the classifieds system, possibly it's in your spam folder?

Thanks again for the quick response. I've gone thru the spam folder a number of times, and nothing that looks like it was there. Could you tell me the return address (the email address) the response you tested came with? and I'll look for it in the automatically blocked list.

OK, folks. I think I finally got it figured out. When I turned off my spam filter (Earthlink), my message I sent myself came thru. When I turned it back on, a message would not come thru. So I turned it back off.

The puzzle is, Earthlink maintains a list of 500 email addresses, which are stopped. And the IRV2.com address is not there at all. So shouldn't be blocked.

But regardless, that took care of the problems.

The sad thing is, I had almost 300 viewings, and nobody was able to send me a reply. They probably think I'm a flake for not responding.

Anyway, I want to thank all of you for your tremendous help.

It's nice to have a community for support.
