Why won't my little "Ford Tough" avatar work? Copy and pasted its url into my edit avatar but all I get is a "?".

Mike,
It's not working because you used the URL for the page that your photo is located on instead of the URL for the Photo itself. If you'll 'right click' on your photo you'll get this URL: http://irv2.com/photopost/data/534/1...ter-thumb1.gif which is for one of the four duplicated photos you just uploaded.
Remove the URL you used for your custom avatar and replace it with the correct one and it'll work. If you need additional help, let me know. Also, there are instructions in our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) that may help you with this and other such issues.

Thanks for the quick reply Richard, please delete one of the two that I up loaded, guess I got a little impatient, no need to consume space unnecessarily. I copied and pasted the url you provided and it seems to be working on my profile page and on the avatar edit page but I'm still getting the "?" here. What am I doing wrong now?

No, the software we use doesn't support text beneath the avatar photo.
