IE settings can be rest also to try to fix this. Close all IE windows except one, click tools then advanced. I think the reset is on the bottom of the window that opens. Read what gets lost before resetting.
HD4Mark, Thanks. Did the IE settings reset and the backspace problem is history. Permanently I hope.

I seem to have resolved my back arrow not working issue. I use IE8 and XP Pro.

Whenever I would navigate within iRV2.com, I could go to the down carrot next to the forward/back arrow, and find 2-3 instantiations of 'googleads.g.doubleclick.net/page'. Trying to use the back arrow would do nothing, unless I clicked these 2 or 3 times.

At the bottom tool bar is an Internet icon which controls security. I clicked on this icon and under 'Internet Security Properties' I chose 'Reset all Zones to Default Level'. Hit Apply and it seems to have resolved the back arrow not working issue.

Hope this helps.

When I go there the "Reset all zones to default level" is grayed out and will not let me select it. Any ideas?

I did the reset to the Internet Explorer settings as was suggested by another poster and it fixed my back arrow problem completely. Not one problem since.
Jiminyard, Have you tried that. Somes things are easier to be just fixed and not explained.

Good luck
Pat

I've had the same problem since I joined the forum in July with mine not responding to the back arrow until a few minutes ago. My system is supposed to do the Windows updates automatically, but just for grins, based upon earlier advice, I went to the Windows update button and clicked it on and found 3 needed updates, two reccommended and one optional. As soon as I downloaded the reccommended ones, this site started operating properly. Hope it remains "fixed".

IRV2,
I don't know what you did, my back arrow is now working!!!!!!
I haven't done anything to my computer to remedy the situation, so it must have been something that you have done.
Thanks,
Indiana Journey

Yep, mine just working as well and like the others I have done nothing different so as was mentioned all along, I would guess it was on your end.
Thanks for fixing it. I was just about ready to walk from this forum which would have been sad as I really enjoy it.
