If I'm understanding the Tapatalk site membership levels correctly ( https://www.tapatalk.com/getting_started) if IRV2.com has a branded app, they're at the Premium level with Tapatalk.

Along with a branded app, the Premium level also allows a site to turn off the advertising their users see with the Tapatalk app.

So, either IRV2.com is leaving the advertising on or that function isn't working as Tapatalk has advertised.

I should also point out that Tapatalk compatible sites can also share in the advertising revenue, which would be an inducement for a site to leave the advertising on...

Between pop-up ads on the internet. Getting hammered with robo calls, and unwanted door to door solicitors. I'm ready to go off the grid.

You should begin so see some improvement shortly. You'll need to be logged in, however and may need to shut down the app and then re-enable before these changes take effect.

Thanks for your patience with this issue.

Thanks admins. I logged out of the app, rebooted phone, logged back in and have yet to see an ad after scrolling for about 20 minutes. Great job.

The Apple app was just updated as well. I suggest you delete and reinstall after updating it.

Admins worked on this. Log out of your app, restart phone or table and log back in. My ads stopped after that. I am on Android. You may have to uninstall and reinstall the app for Apple if that doesn't work.

I'm in agreement. The ads seem inappropriate at times and just plain annoying all the other time. Maybe we go a little to before the 'update' so the nuisances go away.

Well I use the app on an iPhone and have for many years. I have never been bothered by ads. Lucky or...? Keeping my fingers crossed.
