I've logged out, restarted iOS, and still the banner ads. Maybe this is a unique problem to this operating system?

Reached the extent of my Apple knowledge. Lol. Those are my go to fixes with Android.

For those of you that have had success with removing the ads on IOS, what phone do you have? I have an iPhone 7 plus and have had no success.

I use adguard and Firefox browser. If you try this make sure you know what you are doing before changing alot of settings.
https://adguard.com/en/adguard-android/install.html
It works fairly well.
If you use Firefox the go to add on and install ublock origins.

We're getting off topic here.
This this thread is about ads on the app, not adds on the full site via a browser.
Add blockers do not apply or have any effect on the app.
Let's stick to the app please.

The OP asked about Android. You must not have taken the time to investigate what adguard does at the app level. There is also lucky patcher where you can rebuild the app without the Google ads. Even without root.
