When you read a thread the BOLD goes away. So when you post a new thread and than click out of it, it will not be bold. This thread was bold before I read it....
You would think that some one who has been lurking around here for over 6 years would notice that. I guess my half timers and my age are working against me

Since BOLD lettering in a thread title means unread, a thread you start can not be "unread" by you as you created it. It's unrelated to "clicking out of it".
It will remain un-BOLD until someone replies to it - then it becomes BOLD because there will be a reply/replies you have yet to read.
