Has anyone thought of streamlining this process to a 1 access page?

To do a review (at least one as complete as what I do & I'm trying to get 4 of them done 2nite), I first have to submit the basic info on the campground on one page. Then I have to access another page to add positive/negative aspects, would I recommend it & price paid. Once I submit that, in order for me to give it a number rating, I have to do an edit to that second page, because the number rating part doesn't show on the positive/negative page the first time around. That's 3x I have to go in to do a comprehensive review on a single campground.

I think it would be nice to enter that info all on 1 page, with just 1 access, rather than multiple accessing. Either that, or I'm doing it wrong to have to go in 3 different times to complete a review.

Lori..
You need to understand that you are doing something different other than a review if the campground is not there to begin with -
You would be "adding a campground" -which is not the same as a "review" - so those two things need to be a separate process...I will double check the number rating thing ..I did not think I had to do a separate process ...

AND I would like to for adding do many campgrounds for others to be able to just go in and review!

Lori...I just posted as my "alter ego" in a Bakersfield campground. I was able to make my post and rate it at the same time... all in one step...

I did use my alter-ego so that I would see it just as you do...It is just a regular member account.

Ok, I understand the reviewing vs adding a brand new campground (although I STILL think it should be all 1 process). But I don't understand why I don't see the number rating system on the review page my 1st time through, like you do. I just now finished Sunny Brook in MI & I paid special attention to that review page. The rating scale doesn't appear for me unless I edit the review. I've got 1 more review to do but haven't downloaded the pictures from off my camera yet & it's getting late over here so I'll probably just go to bed & work on that review tomorrow. When I get to it, I'll post a print screen so you can see what I'm seeing on that reviews page.

Thanx for your help, MM.

Here is an update on this issue....
NLOVNIT figured out what the problem was -about the same time I was emailing her with what I saw.

There are two ways to post a review -
  • You can do a complete review including the ratings if you click the "Post a Review" button which is next to the Campground Name near the top of the page.
  • You can do a "Quick Reply" -which would be a basic rating without the ratings (and it does not include the smileys either)
...so if you want to reply to a post -do a "quick reply" near the bottom of the page BUT if you want to do a complete review... then "Post a Review" near the top of the page.

...and Thanks Lori for being so adamant about there should be a "better way" - there is a better way and we didn't even have to do anything to make it better!
