I tried to post in this section, but it says I do not have permission to post . I made sure I was logged in as it had my name in the correct section. I tried twice to be sure I was logged in, but it said the same thing. Do U need special permission to post in the area ?

No special permission is required. Your log in to iRV2.com is all that's necessary to post.

Lori, That's what I thought. I log in and it says "Thanks Dave 430 for loggin in" and I type my response in the post area and hit "Submit Reply" and it comes back and says that I do not have the permission to post. I tried it 3 times and got the same response. I'm using FireFox and might try a different browser to see that works. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. thanks for the reply.

Dave we have been trying to duplicate your error and need some more info
Where you trying to add a new campground or add your review to an existing listing?
What Browser are you using?
What state where you trying to add the campground to?
Did you get the error message when you first clicked up upload campground or after you had filled out the various info fields and then clicked submit?
I appreciate the info - it's often very tough to track down these kinds of issues - any help you can provide will be useful.

Janet,
1. I was just trying to give my opinion on a campground (RV Park) that is already listed for the state of California. It is "Chula Vista" RV location in San Diego area.
2. I'm using 'FireFox"
3. It happens after I fill out the form and hit submit. I have tried three different times. I log in as normal and I have even logged in after I get to the "Campground" area. Both times the system says "Thanks Dave for logging in".
After I send this..I'm going to try 2 different "Browsers" and see what happens.

To everyone,
Apparently the system does not like "FireFox". I tried using "Internet Explorer" and it worked. So maybe this old mind will remember that in some
of the sections for IRV2, I will need to use "IE".
Thanks for the help....

Thanks for the report back, Dave.
It really is odd how differently FF & IE interface with this site. I've had relatively few issues using IE8/Win7 where others have all sorts of troubles & some have no troubles at all with FF when others, like you in this instance, run into roadblocks. There seems to be no trouble-free web browser.
