Can not stop email notifications!

I have my account set to no email notifications on subscribed threads but they just keep coming! How can I get it to stop? This started when I corrected my email address after getting the message to do so.

You could go to the 'Thread Tools' menu and unsubscribe there.

Have you logged in and out of iRV2 since you made changes to your profile? (I stay logged in all the time which is why I ask.) Try logging off/on and see if that helps. We are still checking on what else might be causing your problem.

I have the same problem with unwanted email notifications. Possibly I created my account wrong when signing up but only in the last week have the announcements started to arrive. Does not appear to be a feature on the iPad app to undo the notifications. I may log onto the full website and sniff around for "thread tools".

Red face Push notifications

Well I looked under "thread tools" but the only thing available that might stop the emails is to "unsubscribe" from a thread. That is not the same as stopping push notifications. I DO want to have subscribed threads available when I log on, but don't want my email box clogged with notifications of new postings on those threads. I know it is possible because I'm a member of another web site that uses this same forum program structure.

Obviously I'm just not looking in the right place for the switch to turn off push notifications here.

Go to 'User CP' and on the left column click on 'Edit Options' In the center column go down to 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' and make a choice.

That option will only affect future subscriptions, not the threads you are already subscribed to.

To stop those notifications, you will need to unsubscribe, then resubscribe with the "Subscribe with no notification" option.
