Can the poster later delete a post or thread?

Can the open later delete a post or thread? Somehow I started almost duplicate threads yesterday in the Cummins area (not awake yet?) I looked for a way to delete one that has had no responses, but could not find any delete or even edit options at this point...

You can edit or delete a post within one hour after which a staff member can assist. Just report the post or use the contact us method. A thread cannot be deleted. It must be done by a staff member.

I deleted the duplicate thread. Thanks for posting this as I'm sure others needed to know this as well.

The easy way to report a post is to click the little red triangle with the exclamation mark in the area to the left below the posters ID. Just explain the problem and a moderator will get back with you.

For the benefit of the original poster.

Using the method TX-Iceman has described.

Been there, and done that applies.
