Cannot establish digest subscription

This may be entirely me, but I have yet to get a digest with the new software. Plus I am still getting a daily digest from the old software with zero messages. Yesterday I thought I re-established all the subscriptions, but did not get anything this morning. I just did it again and checked all list subscriptions and nothing is listed.

Appreciate someone telling me what I am doing incorrectly. TIA

Donna - I took a look at your account and it looks like it is set up correctly. We are still having some issues with mail configuration so please be patient.

I'm hoping what I see this morning is improvement, but not your final answer.

This morning I received a half dozen email. Each was a message from a separate forum with links to individual messages/replies. This won't do for me. I prefer to have the download similar to the previous where I can received one email with all the message content from the various forums I selected as subscribed.

This lets me have an actual "digest" that can be quickly downloaded and read later. What I got this morning will require that I be online to see any of it.

Please tell me there is something I'm not setting up correctly and this is not the way it is going forward. I will miss IRV2 going forward if that's the way it is. Once again, thanks in advance.

Donna you need to change your subscription preferences from instant to daily.

Click on usercp
>edit options
Scroll down to find subscription preferences
Hit save at the bottom of the page once you have changed your preferences.

Wish I had your problem.. I"m not subscribed to a few threads and need to kill 'em off

Janet, I have to agree with Donna. I also set the new forum up to send me a "digest" of several forums, to be sent "daily". What I saw this morning was 8 email messages (I subscribed to at least that many). Each contained a synopsis of the changes to that individual forum and links to the threads that changed or were new.

I have the same view as Donna. I expect a single email message describing the changes to ALL forums that I subscribe to, with the text and contents of each submission included. There would be links to the thread if I wanted to make a reply or see the entire thread. Take a look at one of the previous forum software digest for what we are looking for.

I don't have an E-mail around that shows what the previous one looked like, but I'm sure that someone has one laying around in their E-mail

I read the digest offline, as does Donna. I am not a chatty contributor so the number of times I need to be online, to make a submission, while reading the forum updates is rare.

Donna; Unless more people chime in, this capability may be pretty low on the priority list right now. I hope they can get to it before you give up on the forum.
