Hi guys,
I noticed that I cannot view any of the Vintage RV forum unless I'm logged in. Not a big deal and not sure anyone else has the issue, but I thought it was odd.

When I'm not logged in and I select the Vintage forum or the last posting in that forum, it takes me to the logon screen and says I have to log in to perform the action. I thought I had it happen in another forum, but not sure. Not a show-stopper for me, just thought I'd let you know. Thanks!

I have had this happen many times in the past myself. I can see where someone has/should have to login to post or reply but to read? Doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks for reporting it. The software is set to allow guests to view, we'll get it checked to see why they can't.

Thanks Richard. Let me know if there's anything you want me to help test. This site runs so well and this seemed minor.

Richard & Mic...
There is not a problem in the Vintage forum!

The problem occurred because the last post that you were trying to go in is a "Poll". You must be logged in to view a poll.

If you go to any other post, you can view as a visitor!

Thanks MM!
I'll give it a try again, now that I know which one is the 'poll' posting in Vintage. I thought I couldn't get into the Vintage section at all though. It was like that for a couple nights, but it may have been the same posting I was trying to select. I never went back into it once logged in. I'll log out and give it a try. Thanks!

Richard,
You can close the service request ticket with the resolution that your service tech, MM, provided = you must be logged in to view a posting that is a poll. When not logged in I can access the Vintage RV forum and most of the postings, just not that poll posting.

Based on the quick & efficient response by both of you, I suggest you both get a raise. (I won't tell you what we called these types of false alarms when I managed the help desk.)

I am just glad I could give you both the solution. (I had done the same thing the other night...but I knew there was a possibility of the poll being put up - so I knew what it was when I could NOT get in myself! )

(Now Hopefully Richard is not up all night trying to figure it out! )
