Hi.

I was just trying to make a change to a post, and I got a message saying I need permission to edit/delete my own post, and to look at my permissions.

I have always been able to edit my own posts, and I went to my permissions and it shows I sould be able to edit the post?

Hi Jeff and Max,

A recent change has limited making edits to existing posts to the 15 minutes immediately following making the post. That time is to allow any grammatical, punctuation, or spelling error corrections.

If you want to add some commentary to what was posted just make a new post in the thread or start a new one. If you have a photo or link that's fouled up, click on one of the forum moderators' Usernames and send a PM asking for the edit.

Tom and I both have tried right after we submitted a post to correct/add something and we were not allowed access to do this. I "see" but I don't like it!! If I mispell something or want to add to my post to put across the point better I have to put a new post? I'm a firm believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Yeah. I just posted and tried to edit it within 5 minutes and I got the same message. When I checked my permissions my edit/delete wasn't checked. Why not just enable "edit/delete" indefinitely like most other forums?
