I've got to agree with change is not always good. I hope it made someone's job easier or made someone happy, because it isn't good on this end.

It'd be nice if all of these ads were gone....There are now just to many of them....I just like the feel of the old board better.

John,

Topics with unread post will be bold. I think everyone needed to reset their passwords....

Gee! Don't the ads help pay for the server, software and other necessity items that we don't have to pay for out of pocket?

hi there
I think that the ads are here to pay for this site.
Is there a way to hide them

Ok... I do like the general look of the site and I don't really mind the ads as I understand their purpose.

What I DON'T like:
  • My siggy has been largely deleted since my last visit a few hours ago, so now I'm gonna have to go see if I can fix it. I'm going to go attempt the fix in a minute.
  • My photo that I only had up for about a month that MM so kindly helped me with is also not showing (suppose that's not allowed anymore for some reason?). I really liked seeing other's photos in their siggys, too.
  • I also was very happy to FINALLY get my second karma campfire....now they are all gone.
Poo... I'm not a happy camper at the moment. :(

Since I cannot do an ETA onto my last post:
  • One other thing to add to my list is that my Winnebago forum member ID has disappeared.
I do want to add that I'm not complaining about the overall change in general, just the few things that I specifically listed. I used to be an Admin for another Vbulletin forum, and I do feel right at home with the familiar features of Vbulletin. I think that a lot of people will like some of these features once they get used to them.
