Changed password

I have been using the forum for just a short time and as of today, I am told my password was invalid. I submitted a request for a temp. password and the first one didn't work. I tried it again and got a different number. This time the new one worked but kind of dumped in an area that was confusing and didn't let me change me password to what I wanted. I also tried to re-register and it let me fill in all the blanks until I got to the e-mail address and I was told that my e-mail address was not correct and I had forgotten my password. At this point, I am just a Tad irate. If there is anyone in Command Central who can help me, I would appreciate it.

Hello. You appear to be logged on, so what can I help with? If you want to change your password, click on USER CP in the upper left-hand corner of the page in the dark blue bar. When the page opens, scroll down to the box that says "Edit Email and Password" in the left hand column. Click on that. You should see the form for password changes; enter your current password in the box, then the NEW password in the appropriate boxes. Scroll down and click on SAVE CHANGES.

Just a friendly reminder.

The best way to contact us regard an account problem is by clicking on the "Contact Us" links at the top and bottom of every forum page.

Reregistering is not the correct solution to account problems.

Thanks!

Thank you;
I was beginning to think I was the "village idiot" for a bit. Sarah W. sent me in the right direction. my hunt and peck keyboard skills must have something to do with the problem. Duh, ya think?
