Clock question
Hi tech people. I've noticed that the time stamp on messages I post is really off from my "real" time. We are PST and even if you add three hours it's still not right. Is there something I should know about IRV2 time???

Another thought - how many people know what WYSIWYG means? I do and I even know how to "pronounce" it!!!

So why is this so hard? Why isn't everything calibrated to EST or GMT (or pick a standard time zone). I just posted at 12:47am and it's 7:57pm EST here? Just a recommendation to simplify our lives.

Actually, our default setting for new members was originally GMT and was recently changed to CST. Keep in mind we have members all around the globe; not counting Hawaii the US has 5 time zones. Also we have 13 members registered in Australia, 115 registered as the United Kingdom, Great Britain, or England. There are others all around the globe.
We even have one in Western Cape, South Africa who posts here: karel1969

In addition to Richard's comments, as we travel to different time zones, we have the ability to have the correct time for our current location.
