delete post/thread

When I go to edit a post or thread ,it no longer has an option to delete

Actually the problem was that I was trying to delete a thread I started and just found out from Jay ( moderator) that we cannot do that. We can only delete a post. Live and learn . It's a good day when I learn something ( which is everyday )
