How can I tell if someone has emailed me or sent a private message? Is there an icon that I need to look for? I'm still learning here as you can tell.

I should have mentioned that I contacted someone off a classisifed add and was wondering if the response would come back here or to my personal email. Thanks

My answers to PM's I've sent comes into my personal Email address, through iRV2.

I find you can't "reply" to an answer on your returned PM. You have to send them a reply, through a second (and so forth) PM.

In otherwords the PM is only good one time, each way, through iRV2.

I just ask for their personal Email and go that route if more interaction is required----- But I'm no expert on computer sites , that's for sure ! Other folks will probably answer this better than I can

I've checked your profile, and you do have PMs allowed, and you have the immediate notification via email turned on.

When someone sends you a PM you will receive an email alerting you of the PM. The email is sent to the Account Email Address in your profile. Please check to verify your email address is correct.

Also, when you have a new PM a "PM Button" will appear at the top of the forum next to the "Reply" box.

Your email is not associated with iRV2, therefore we have no way of alerting you of an email if someone sends you a direct email.

Max I have always been able to reply to a PM that was sent to me by hitting the reply button in the email notification or by hitting the reply in the returned PM if I open it here. If your having trouble let us know.
