This is not going to be too good for when we have a rally and a stickey. I made several changes to the first post during our last rally. I go to the Northwood form and can edit anytime. I may not like it but can live with it.

Good point. Rally posts contain constantly changing info (attendees, site assignments, activities, pot-luck listings...etc). A rally post will get messy real fast with the new edit restrictions in place. Either that or the admins/mods will be kept extremely busy updating rally posts, not just for the main iRV2 Rally but for all the regional rallys that go on. If a region is lucky, they'll have at least one admin/mod in their group who can be the member doing all the coordinating & originating of a rally post for their respective group; therefore, eliminating the need for asking permission to edit an original rally post every time there's a change to its contents.
Obviously some bugs to work out of the new procedure yet.

This has been discussed and there is a way to allow the person in charge of the rally to be granted temporary edit privileges for the purpose of maintaining a rally log of attendees or meal list.
The appropriate administrator will set up the wagonmaster with edit rights.

I read the new 60 minute limit and agree that it should solve most problems, at least my grammatical errors. Thanks

The 60 minute time limit is more than charitable for those of us who hunt and peck through this electronic world.
