Error message accessing this site

I access this site on (3) different pc's, some using Vista and others using Windows 7. All are up to date but some of them will on occasion have the following error message displayed on the upper left of the site screen:
! An add-on for this website failed to run. Check the security settings in Internet Explorer for potential conflicts. I am running the default settings for IE and can close the error message but it will eventually come back. I have tried raising and lowering the settings but it still will show up. The message has not appeared in Firefox but I'm not a fan. Any ideas?

Do you know if you have Flash installed? Sometimes the ads are flash files. You can go here to see what version you have:
Adobe - Flash Player

Flash Version

I am running Flash Ver 10.0.42.34 on this LT and Win 7 Home Premium. Don't know about the others as they are used secondary to this one.

Are you still having issues with the site (still getting the message)? Is there any other information you can provide or a screen shot that might help us figure out a way to track down the issue?

JC2, please try the following:
how to clear cache in internet explorer - Google Search

This will make 100% certain the current page is loading and nothing cached. Once that is done try again. If it still does not work, I found the following on some other searches:

https://www.tntworks.com/tnt1?problems.htm&sessionid=_
# Select the browser menu item Tools
# Click on the submenu item Internet Options...
# Select the page tab labeled Security
# Click on the Zone named Internet
# Click on the button labeled Custom Level...
# Locate the heading named ActiveX controls and plug-ins
# Set Download signed ActiveX controls to Prompt (Reccommended)
# Click on Ok, etc..

Here's another page that recommends resetting IE security to its defaults, and/or running sfc /scannow:
An add-on for this website failed to run. Check the security settings in Internet options for potential conflicts.

Any other Internet Explorer gurus out there that can help?

If it was only happening on (1) pc, I would be inclined to think some type of file(s) corruption. Because it is happening on all (3) pc's that I use to access this siye is what has me puzzled.

How about your anti virus causing a problem?

I use 2 different PCs, one on 98, one on Vista, both with AVG.

Both IE and FF work fine on both machines, with IE being slower on both.

I also wasn't able to log in this a.m. at 0814 hours. kept trying and finally got in at 0834 hrs. In one attempt I did get a response that the server was to busy. O well seems to work now. At first thought the message Janet sent to santa for me was working.

We had a server outage for a few minutes this morning, which is unrelated to the original posters issue

That sure is strange. Are they all running the exact same version of IE?

Any of those 3 computers a laptop? If so, is there any chance you can test from a different internet connection?

I believe I crossed up with TW with a Walmart reply. Mine didn't post, while his did. I got the server error right after trying to make that post. Evidently two cannot enter at precisely the same instant in time. Administrator comment?
