Failure to upload photos

I have Windows 10. I have uploaded photos before. I shrunk photo to smallest image. The photo comes up after selection but after trying to upload "failure to upload" pops up.

Is their a setting in my computer that prevents photos to upload? I have done this before but all of a sudden it fails.

Any suggestions?

I followed the instruction to a tee. Still failure to upload. The load bar above the selection window says I have only downloaded about 1/2 of the max load of uploads.

Can I delete what has been uploaded before?

Any other suggestions?

If you still have 1/2 of your maximum left there's no need to delete anything. I don't use Windows so hopefully someone else will be able to shed some light on this. In the meantime you might try deleting your irv2 cookies and clearing your cache.

Deleted IRV2 cookies. Same results.

I started a similar thread yesterday

File Upload Failure

The last time uploading worked for me was 7/17.

I generally upload PDFs, with the remainder JPEGS. My computers are Windows 7. I use Firefox for my main browser.

The most common problem is the photos are too large.

Try reducing their size.

My wife uses a lap top with Windows 10 and they've been trying to do an update that she's been holding them off. Maybe your issue has something to do with this new update.

Still no upload.

I've tried deleting IRV cookies, different browsers, different path to pictures, different IRV topics.

Any more suggestions?

Thanks to all who replied and to those will add suggestions.

There was in fact a file system problem that locked up a few member's upload directories. Yours was one of them.

Our Tech fixed the upload directories and you should now be able to upload again.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
