I like this site and spend many hours reading post here. Thanks. I do have some questions. Member status. How does status increase?
What do the campfire symbols indicate?
the envelopes at the side of topic's. What does open and closed show? (open topic, closed topic?)

The longer you participate, your "status" will change. The campfires give a rough idea of how many posts you've made. You'll get your first one, I believe, after just 25 posts. It takes more and more posts to collect each new campfire. The open envelope indicates there has been a new post to that thread since your last visit.

Welcome aboard. If you're like most of us, you'll soon have a big blaze under your user name!

#1 what's a blue bonfire mean?
#2 how many posts does that take??
#3 two fingered typing would take how many years to accumulate at least one blue???

Really great site that we all seem to appreciate and enjoy.

You don't see many of those blue campfires, huh? That's because I believe it takes 15,000 posts to earn one.

You don't want to know how long that takes with two fingers.
