FYI---iRV2 Advertiser

Had a occasion to try one of your advertiser's yesterday concerning a RV problem (www.justanswer.com) they specialize in answering technical questions on RV systems. The answer I got was prompt and good.

However, so far since noon yesterday my credit card has been billed three times for the same transaction. They have not answered two emails (to their billing department) concerning the over billing and my bank has not been able to contact them so far.

My bank is taking the extra charges off, just thought I'd let Andy or whoever know about the advertiser. (By the way, the owner of the website also appears to be a Andy, no connection)

Justanswer.com shows up in the Ads by Google box on my computer. IOW, they subscribe to the Google ad service and aren't a formal iRV2 advertiser or sponsor. That notwithstanding, it's a shame about the credit card situation.

I've probably told you more than I know, so I'll let Andy or Janet clean up my mess.

No that's about right. Google ads are pretty random and are based on the page content of a site. This means that if you are looking at a thread about brakes, you may see ads that relate to that topic. If you are looking at a page about pets, you may see pet food ads. Google advertisers are in no way related to iRV2 but if we have reason to think that there is an unscrupulous advertiser, we could have their content specifically blocked. Have you contacted the company directly about your issue?

If you believe that this is more than a snafu and have contacted them with no resolution, please send me a PM and we'll see how we can move forward regarding their ads.
