Someone STOP the endless string of mails every time I post in a thread. I have not requested an email every time I post here and someone replies or another person posts to the same thread. I cannot find any setting here to stop the unwanted emails.

PLEASE STOP IT!!!!!!

The Unsubscribe things doesn't work and I want this stopped now!

Thank you.

Here's one way to stop email of threads from irv2. At the main page of irv2.com, click on UserCP, in there you will see all posted threads that you reply or started. Just click on the unsubscript, that should work.

The proper place to post a problem such as this is in the iRV2 Forum Issues section that is closely monitored by administrators and moderators. There's every chance your post will not be seen in the Travel Trailer section.

Go to your control panel, on the left is 'Settings and Options'. Click 'Edit Options'. On that page you can control how the forum notifies you. By default it emails you about every thread in which you have participated that has new additions.

Notice the "Emeritus" over my avatar? I'm not an active moderator - I'm retarded....um, retired. I frequent the TT/5th Wheel forums because we happen to have one.

As soon as you post, you have subscribed to that thread unless you do as mentioned to adjust your notifications. If you choose not to be notified, that obviously means that you will not see replies to your posts.
I have the same issue in that the "unsubscribe" URL does not work. It's not hi-lited and will not automatically do as it is intended.
I also have to manually go in to my userCP and when you access this yourself, on the left side you will see "list subscriptions" next, on the right side you will see a box to check after each of your subscriptions. Check each box of each subscription you do not want to be involved with. Finally, go to the "options" box at the bottom right side. Open the options and pick delete and then "go". This will unsubscribe you from any subscription you checked.

As someone said USER CP

Then on the left you will see a box marked SETTINGS

Under that is OPTIONS, click on that.. Scroll down a bit and you have and option which likely has "Subribe" in it... Mine is set to "DO NOT SUBSCRIBE"

I don't get E-mails.

Higher on that page is a box as to who can send you E-mails (Admisitrators only in my case) and a bunch of other options as well.

And I have to go through this rigmarole every time I reply to someone on a thread to avoid the unwanted email? How do I set it so I don't have to bother over and over again, with each post?

Sorry but there is no setting there to STOP the unwanted email every time I reply in a thread.

I'm sorry but the pic will not download to a size were I can see it and understand it. Step 3 is too small to see. I see nothing about shutting off unwanted emails when I reply to posts under Edit Options. Is there somewhere I can see that pic fullsize?
