Help posting pics-

I need help- again- ugh

I'm writing a new thread and I want to include pics----. I click on the "mountain portrait" and it asks me for a "URL". Now I try to move a photo from my "Members photos" and I can't get it done.
What's wrong--- ?

URL means it want the address of where the picture is stored. When you have the picture open (perhaps in another tab) put the mouse pointer somewhere on the picture and right click. One of the menu pics should be "Copy image address/URL". After copying it, go back to your post and paste it into the box.

I go down to the " Additional Options " box , below where you type in your message , and then to " Manage Attachments " in the " Attach Files " section, clicking there opens a box that allows me to go to my files , be it photos or documents , and click on the one I want , click import , wait for the import complete message , close the import box , and then submit reply as you would with text only.

It would help to know what computer and operating system your working with as , my HP laptop running Windows 10 , may differ from your set up.

Hi Max! I thought about you the other day when I registered for the 2019 iRV2 rally in MB. Hope you're well. I remember you installing that wonderful no-shirt-tearing stainless striker bolt when we were in MB last time. Never tore a shirt or gouged my arm since. But all things come to an end & it went to the next owner of our Bounder. Haven't had the same issue with the Phaeton. Guess I don't brush up against that door jamb as much as I did the Bounder.

Ok, enough off topic ()..... as to adding photos when our software wants a URL, post 2 has the instructions you're looking for. If you follow post 2's instructions then your photo will go right into the post like this:

Just have your photo open on another tab to make it easy for you to get to it while having your post window open in an different tab.

Posting pics- always a learning curve for me---

Hi Lori and others--

Thanks for all your answers-- I'll work on my new post, with pics, later today---

I'm using W-10---

You folks might like to look at this new post I'm going to put on this forum soon-- (I don't know exactly where yet) because it pertains to all of us, with all kinds of RV's-- with A/C- heat pumps, on our roofs--

I've had to defeat the lousy "dirt daubers" (wasps) that seem to like, and enjoy, raising their young on the fan blades of my "squirrel cage blades".
This is the second season in a row that they attacked my rig.

When the A/C is turned on the RV shakes so bad you think it is going to fall apart--- And of course, you now have to climb up on the roof and take the A/C cover off and clean/scrape their Hugh, heavy nests, off the blades- UGH!

Lori, I didn't know you moved up to a DP-- Great- I see your in Louisiana-- we winter in Gulfport, MS on the Navy Base, NCBC (Naval Construction Center) SeaBees--- Come and visit the land of Great Casinos, wonderful meals (two for one- senior discounts, military discounts, etc). We've got it all figured out there in the Biloxi/Gulfport area.
"Cruising the Coast" happens in the first week in October, every year. If you like old cars, hot rods, rat rods, and classic's, this is the place to go. This year, It happens Oct 6- 13, 2019. There were over 2500 registered entrees last year. They are all over the place, like "Gnats"-- We love it--

Thanks for everyone's input.

I got it posted on the MH class A section. There might be a better location.

Lori, please feel free to move it if you can think it could better serve more folks----

I have no idea how all the "thumbnails" showed up at the end---

I had forgotten I had trouble doing pics years ago using AOL. I went to IE and I got it done. I used Skip426's method---- Thanks Skip
