The free sites are actually hosted by Community Architecture --> http://www.communityarchitect.com/

Unfortunately we had to detach ourselves from the system because some low life individuals where using the sites to spam, phish for information, and other unacceptable practices. And with our name attached to those sites it appeared we where doing the dirty work.

Anyway you can contact Community Architecture directly to get your site fired up again.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dan your stuff is still there. You just need to contact them and see about getting things changed a little.

I have web space set up the same as you. I contacted them and was told of an alternate way to log in.

First you need to go to "freewebservers.com". Click on "Member Login". Then take whatever your site name is and add "istemp.com" to the end of it when it asks for your web site name. Then enter your password.

Ie. if yours was say "abcd.irv2.com" type in "abcd.irv2.com.istemp.com"

You then should be into your site manager.

Everything link wise will now need to have the ".istemp" in the address.

I changed mine to a completely differant address with the help of the tech support folks there. I called the number Richard listed.

They were actually very nice and helpful.
