How to change forum notifictions?

When I subscribed to a forum I chose "instant notification" when a new thread is created. I would like to change the notification type to "daily notification". I know how to manage a thread notification, but the only way I can see to change the forum notification is to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe and select the notification type I want.

Is there another way to do this?

Go into your User CP and then click where it reads "Edit Options". Look down to where it reads "Messaging & Notification". Then look down at the second section below that finding where it reads "Default Thread Subscription Mode" and there's a box in where you can change the notification method.

You'll want to change yours to read daily "Daily Email Notification". Based on your post it will already be reading "Instant Email Notification". Don't forget to click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page.

Thank you. I have seen that option before, but I thought it would only affect future subscriptions. I'll try it.
