Locate your ad and open the ad. Look for the link to "product options" You should be able to mark the ad sold from that menu. Sold ads are automatically removed after a couple of days. Holler if you need help

Many sites will not let you delete a post but will let you edit it

If the site you listed it on is like that you open the post. choose EDIT and change the description, and all your contact info to read as fololows:

Item Sold

E-mail Item.Sold@sold.net
Phone 000-111-2222

you get the idea

On one of the forum groups I visit it's like that.. I can edit but not delete a post

So when I wish to delete, say a duplicate post.. I edit it to read somehing like

"Moderator please delate... duplicate post" or whatever reason I want it deleted

Note;;;; To moderators.. this is an example. please do not delete.

One thing you can do here if you a post that needs some moderator attention is to report the post using the ]report post icon (little triangle in each post). That report sends a note to all moderators and there is as option to include a message explaining your issue.
