To post pictures on the forum under the 300k limit, use Microsoft Picture Manager to resize them.
Look in Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Tools, Microsoft Office Tools, Microsoft Picture Manager. I made a shortcut to my desktop, as I use it often.

If you can’t find it under Microsoft Office Tools, use the Start, Search function to locate it. Under rare occasions you might need to insert the Microsoft Office disk and install it to the computer. Only rarely.

Open Microsoft Picture Manager, go to the file or folder with your pictures, and double click the picture. Click on Edit Pictures on the tool bar at the top, click Compress, on the right menu window, choose Documents or Web Pages, click OK. Go to File, Save As, name your picture, click OK. Hover your mouse over the new picture to see the compressed size of it. It is usually smaller than what the compression window indicated as you compressed it. Try compressing it once as a Document and once as a Web Page. You will have to open the original picture each time. Save under different names. You can now close Picture Manager and it will ask if you want to save these pictures. Click no, you will not change original and will keep the new resized photo under the new name(s).

Try it out in the Test Your Changes section of the Forum.

Now you can follow the thread in posting pictures, using the resized and renamed photo.

Good Luck

Hmmmm,
Must be an Office 2007 thing. Not part of Office 2003.
OK, I was wrong. After doing a search, it is in there although it is probably not installed and will probably need the CD as Harry says. I use Windows Resizer which is part of MS Powertoys. However, I'm still using Windows XP and beta testing Windows 7.
