In recent versions of this board it was quite easy to return back to the top of a forum section when you were done reading a thread. I don't see this feature any longer. How the heck do you quickly return back to top of a forum section when you are done reading a thread? I must be missing something.

You can use the "back" button on your browser or by clicking on the forum you are in, the section, or the main forum at the top of the page.

The back button is a solution but it doesn't show a thread "read" when in fact it was. Why would such a feature be removed? Doesn't make much sense.
Thanks for the reply.

You may want to consider changing the display order of posts in a thread so that the newest posts are at the top of the thread. This gets rid of a lot of scrolling as well as the need to get back to the top.

To do this click on usercp on the upper nav bar
Then find Edit Options on the left side menu.

Look for thread display options section and choose Linear-newest first. Scroll and hit save.

All good choices. The question remains, why remove a useful feature?
