How turn off notice in forum header

Every so often an announcement is posted at the top of the forum page. These are posted because they contain info that our community needs about; upcoming changes, events and other important info. You can disable this announcement once you've read it, by clicking on the red X in the upper left corner. This will allow you to reclaim several inches of screen space and reduce scrolling.
