Using the Image icon on the toolbar, you can also insert (versus attach) a photo that's hosted on the Internet.

Now trying again the same way we've been doing it for the past five years. Does not work when clicking on "insert image"-we are getting nothing! Have poste thousands of pics the same way.

Just tried again by editing again no luck.

The "image insert" icon is used to post a photo that's hosted on the internet. Therefore, the photo will have a url that's inserted in the pop-up box that opens when you click on the Image icon. If you're not inserting a url in the lower blank in the pop-up box, then absolutely nothing will happen.

If you're trying to attach a photo directly off your computer, you'll need to use the Manage Attachments function to Browse your computer and select the photo to be attached. Then click on the Upload button to upload the photo as an attachment to your post.

Yes I know what the image insert is for, been using it for five years no problem until the new system. Works fine on Woodalls and everywhere else. As I said three times previously when we click on the "image insert" we ge NOTHING, no prompt, nothing! Insjert link box works but not the image box. thanks Dave

Please forgive me. I wasn't trying to insult you, but in situations such as this, I have no way of knowing what the individual on the other end is or is not doing. Therefore, I pretty well have to start at ground zero, or very close to it.

For the life of me I can't understand why the hyperlink box would pop up but the image box would not. One would think a pop-up blocker would catch them both.

When you click on the insert link icon (globe with a chain link) you should get a dialog box to insert the URL.

Size: 51.8 KB

If you don't see that you should go to the CONTACT US dropdown and open a ticket.
