Can someone please tell me if there is a way to invite a third member to participate in a private topic that is already in progress between two members?

If not, I assume that if you start a new private topic with three members and link to the first topic (with only two of the three members), the new participate won't be able to see the previous thread. Is that correct?

Thanks.

Robin,

Additional members can't be added to a PM that's already started. Additionally, you are correct about others being unable to view the PM, it's only viewable by those who were originally invited and the one who started it.

Robin...
You can always "copy & paste" the previous PM into the one that you are starting with all three members...

Thanks, MM, but there are 16 messages in the thread.

And thank you, Richard, for the quick response.

Copy and paste is about your only choice.

PMs are so private that neither adminstrators nor moderators can view or access a PM that they were not invited to.

Ah, that means I can say nasty things about MM, and she can't see them, even though she has "special powers". (Just kidding, of course. I would NEVER say nasty things about MM.)

What I ended up doing is copying the entire thread to an html file. Then I emailed the file to the person I wanted to read it. Worked out neat because all the graphics and links stayed in tact.
