IP Issue

I've recently moved. New ISP is hughesnet and my brother shares it with me. He wants to join and when trying to register this site said the ip was a known spammer and registration is prevented. How can we get this resolved? Thanks!

I have had issues with things similar to this but the solution would be to call HughesNet 24/7 tech support and they will be able to help you make an "allow" entry to your tables so that it resolves the iRV2 IP address.

Sorry I didn't make myself more clear. I can sign in here (IRV2) with no problem but my brother using the same internet connection here at home wants to join IRV2 but this forum won't allow a new user creation because it (IRV2) displays a message stating that my IP (hughesnet) is a known spammer.

Are you using a router and both connecting through this. You should be able to without any issues. Hughesnet is an ISP and their IP addresses are used for outbound mail servers. One of their addresses could be on a black list. If you go to mxtoolbox.com you can enter in your WAN IP address to see if it is black listed.

Looks like iRV2 has to keep an eye on you HughesNet folks!

I tried to ping the website (HughesNet.com) and I could not hit it from my house so I don't know what the problem could be from the iRV2 side.

I would call HughesNet to find out "Whatzup?"

We use a spam identification service and unfortunately from time to time this happens.

Please have your brother contact the help desk (click on the contact us link at the bottom of the page) and they can set up an account for him. He will need to let them know what username he wants, His date of birth and the e-mail address he wants to use. Once the account is set up he shoudl be able to log in.
