IPad app

Is anyone else having an issue using the iPad app for irv2? When I try to use it, I get an error message and then a black screen. I have removed it, once, and re-installed it and it worked fine for a while, but it is not working again this morning, Hmmmmm!

I get that black screen on my iphony when I try to log in and the internet connection is weak or not there ( happens frequently in the CG I'm at ).

Funny though that I only get it on my iPad and not on my smart phone, which I'm using now, and the iPad is tethered to the smartphone. Hmmmm!

Same here. The app works on my Droid phone. Won't work on iPad. I just access the forum as I do on my laptop.

I'm sitting here using the iPad app while the laundry is in process. I do not have a problem with the screen. I do find that when I start it up using the "current" mode it will return to the home screen when I go to the next page. This happens only once in a reading session. I'm used to it now but still don't understand. Oh! Well!

When I get a black screen, I know I have too much stuff open and need to reboot. I double click the scround button to bring up all of the apps running in the background. Then I press on the first one until I get a minus sign in a red circle in the upper left hand corner of those icons. Then I press each one to close them. After that, I turn the whole thing off with the power button, count to ten, turn it back on and life is good.

It's much easier when this happens to close the app and restart just it. You don't need to reboot the iPad/iPhone or take the app off and restart. Double click the home button and hold down on the app until the minus sign appears at the top. Close the app by hitting the minus button, hit the home button once to stop the minus signs and then once more to close the "Open apps". Now restart iRV2 app and typically with good connection it'll be back up and working.

Thanks. I just tried that on my iphony. It worked as described.
