iPad issue, hitting send by mistake

On several occasions, I have mistakenly hit the "send" button on the top of the screen when I was merely attempting to edit my post and instead, sent it out immediately. I have also mistakenly hit the "cancel" button but at least then I am (given a second chance) asked if I really wish to cancel before losing my post. I attribute these mistaken touch commands to a condition that I call "FFT" or "fat finger typing" ( and editing, lol). If it is possible, would love to see the message appear " did you really want to send this or are you just too darn clumsy with your iPad"... Just kidding about the verbiage but a pop up asking for a command confirmation would be helpful. -Laker

And you think you will get it?

Wishful thinking, "Steve."

premature esendulation?? Sounds more serious than I thought. I might have to start a support group.

I use an IPad almost exclusively, and boy some of the stuff I write looks like an eighth grader on drugs. Especially if you use the autopilot feature.

When that happens, just go the post and select "Edit". Now just finish or correct it, Send when done. Do it almost daily using the app.

Hmmm, I believe that I tried the edit that you describe but unless I'm mistaken, it still came out as a separate post. Then again, I often write while sitting up in bed and sometimes a little too tired to stay properly focused. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll try it again.

As I type this post, I'm realizing that this is the first one that I have written using the "real" version of iRV2 as opposed to the app version and i notice that the send button on this version is well out of harms way. Problem solved.
