Hello,

I would like to know if you can create a group for other people to join. I live in California and would like to have a group of people to chat with.

Thanks Ahead

At this time, we are not adding any more groups.

MotorhomeMan, There a few options that you can explore if you would like to participate with a group.

Consider participating in the SouthWest Region. This Region supports the state of California. Post as often as you wish and create new topics to talk about whether it be destinations or or other RV related interests. Does Arnie RV ???

Once you get that ball rolling consider using one of the Chat Rooms when they are not occupied for your own purposes. Invite your friends to meet you in the Fireside Chat Room for instance other than on Wednesday's from 9:00pm to 10:00pm EST.

Those rooms can be used almost anytime. Consider participating initially in a chat session so you can get the feel of it. The iRV2 Chatters are typically there nightly from about 7:00pm EST on.

The new "Group" that you had requested might be justified if you had a group of RV'ers from the SW Region that frequently camp together like the Mid-Atlantic, Nor'Easters or Appalachian Campers for example.

Get that SW Area going and invite friends and neighbors to go camping and form a group. I'm sure that if that's a done deal, the admin would reconsider making a specific group for you guys.

You are going to need a name and a club logo so get busy! ....

I tried getting the SouthWest going again.. Got shot down at every turn!

There was never anyone there so... It was tough talking to myself...
I could never get an intelligent answer

Rick, "Roma die uno non aedificata est". "OR" Rome wasn't built in a day!

There are millions of people in that demographic. I find it remarkable that we just can't get any traction in that SW Region! It's been a struggle.

Stay the course and keep posting ... I'm hoping that it'll pick up.

If you want something bad enough, it'll come to you. I'm always the optimist ....

Write something ... put up one or more interesting topics, invite other people's opinions, describe a favorite destination, due it often and hopefully a lot of those people that are "lurkers" will finally register and come in and join you!

Consider going through the list of attendees going to the National Rally. See if anyone there is from CA and start up a dialog with them. Reach out and touch someone!
