On my home screen on the iphone there is a red circle in the corner of the irv2 square, with a number in it that keeps getting higher. When this appears on my mail tab, it indicates the # of messages in my in box ( unread ). I don't have any unread messages in my irv2 inbox that I am aware of. Do you know what this is?

Janet,

Its works fine on my Droid X and as a suggestion...ignore Cliff. Cliff is always seeing things and sometimes hear things go "bump" in the night.

I'm joking Janet...help poor Cliff or he'll be calling me.

These are unread subscribed threads. At the bottom right there is a "button" with the word More under three dots. Pressing "More" brings up a menu page, the top of which is "Subscribed" (like going to the list in "User CP." When you have read the posts in subscribed threads the number will go away.

Send a message via Skype™ to idenphones
Now I don't have to ask the same question.

Thanks Janet!

Which Droid did you get? I am contemplating a Droid as a replacement for my BlackBerry which I love but broke. I heard that some Droid phones are better than others and don't know which to choose.

I switched from my Blackberry Tour to a Droid X because internet browsing was sooooooo slow, the fonts were too small, the screen was too small and it took forever to reboot.

The Droid X is superior in all of those categories.

No phone is perfect and Blackberry is superior for email and the desktop application.

However, the Droid X has so much going for it, I'm quite satisfied with it and glad I made the change.

BTW, if you're a VZW customer, you don't have to wait until your NE2 time is up. You can pay a $20 upgrade fee and get a new phone once a year.

I traded my Blackberry for a Droid Samsung Mesmerize GalaxyS. It is much quicker and very easy to use, this is my company phone.

My personal phone is a Droid Samsung Acclaim and am not that happy with it. The telephone functions are slow and lock up from time to time.

Research all your Droid options before you commit yourself.
