irv2 not Mac friendly?

Would someone please help with a minor posting problem. I've look at FAQs and other areas of irv2 and can't find a solution to my issue. I use the Mac Safari web browser and when I try to reply to someone else's post using the quote feature, instead of a nice little box with the quote inside, I get some gibberish, the quote and more gibberish. Is there a problem using Safari with the website? Thanks for any help.
Keith

I've posted from my iMac and my iPad, but have never figured out how to get a clean quote. I usually copy, paste and use italics to quote. And I do fancy myself somewhat of a luddite.

Glad it works now. Try the app. You'll like it. I use it 98% of the time.

Computers are not friendly, they're personal.

Done with Safari and quote button. If the 'gibberish' you are talking about is a bracket QUOTE=(name of person quoted): and a 7 digit number], that's HDML code so it displays properly when posted. After the quote it ends with brackets around 'forward slash QUOTE] That denotes the end of the quote.
