Need advice

I'm trying to purchase the IRV2 Supporter upgrade (worth every penny!) but I'm running into problems. When I click the link it does take me to the page and then tells me to select a payment method, but the only payment method listed is pay pal. I don't do pay pal. I'm looking around trying to find another option but I'm stumped.

Any hope for us that don't do pay pal?

Thanks.

PayPal is the only payment option available.

I canceled this almost three years ago (only wanted one year not recurring) and am still being charged. I just noticed a new charge once again on paypal. Who do I contact to stop these recurring payments? Thanks.

You would cancel that within your Paypal account.

Last time I was "forced" to use Pay Pal they had a "guest" feature I was able to use without being a member.

O.K. Guys,
I just went ahead and used PayPal with recurring payments.
I couldn't find any other way to do it and figure that as much as I use and enjoy this application it is well worth it and will probably continue to support it in the future anyway.
I'm a guitar dilettante. This is a fancy way of saying that I have guitars but can't play very well. I like to play 12 bar blues, jazz chord, scales and read song book chord charts. If you like to throw tomatoes, you ought to hear me play some day.
I found an RV musicians group here on irv2 and this is just another example of why I am supporting this app.
The more I ply through this app, I find that there seems to be no end to the resources that are provided at irv2.
I'm new to irv2, but whoever your guys are, keep up the good work.

Send a message via Yahoo to wmpbauer
about PayPal.....

All you have to do is go in there and select the credit card option without joining. Then pay with your CC just as you would any other online transaction. You don't have to open a PP account or anything of the sort.

How?

Wmpbauer,

Ok, I'm officially acknowledging that I don't get it. Route 66 says I can only join the supporters by using pay pal. I don't use pay pal. If I read your post accurately, it seems to say I can upgrade to a supporter using pay pal, but not use pay pal money, and instead use a cc? I don't see that anywhere. I felt so strongly about supporting this group that I went through the pay pal new account setup when I attempted to upgrade my membership here. Reluctantly filled out the info, including cc information, and continued through the process. Once done, it said my account was limited. Half an hour later I figured out I had to actually transfer money from my card to the pay pal account. When attempting to do that it then asked me to verify my birth date, then wanted a piece of my social security number. That was too much. I x'd out of the whole thing.

Ummmmm. Perhaps an adult beverage would shed more light on my continuing quest to give this fine forum some $$$$. Any help at this point would truly be an intervention!

You can use PayPal with your credit card.

You do not have to associate your PayPal account with your checking or savings account.

Got it! Thanks for your help. My pay pal account didn't have a cc associated with it, Tied a cc to the pp account and that opened up the option to pay with a cc instead of transferring money to the pay pal account.

Glad that's done!
