IE 9 and now IE 10 have proven to load just as fast.. With out ad blockers, however, there IS a hang up at the last. The page loads as stuff is recieved so you can read it, but it takes several seconds to be able to reply 'cuase of this.

IE 10 Mobile on WinPhone8, which I am using to reply to this, does the same thing... Even thigh the only ad is the top banner, so it MUST be a tracking/cookie thing.. ie: Facebook....

Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the blinking ads.

Can you provide a description of the "blinking ads'?

I've tried Chrome, Firefox and IE and I don't see any blinking ads.

They are just above the quick reply box I am typing in and right below the last post on every page. Everytime I refreash the page the add changes. Thor motorcoach and 5 star tuning are up as I type......
I just refreashed 5 times and something different each time, some adds are just a banner ad and most of them are changing or real time moving ads.

Those reporting blinking ads, please post browser & OS info. For example, I'm running: FF 18.0.1. Win7 Home Premium v 6.1. Updates current (ran last night)

Maybe this info will help us figure out why some are seeing ads when others are not. I don't see ads ad the page bottoms - just rotating iRV2 Sponsor ads, between the 1st & 2nd posts of a thread on any page.

Thanks,
Lori-

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 64 bit version 9, updates automatic and to date, and no banner between post 1&2, I did see that between post 1&2 yesterday Lori when I was running firefox though. Now it is not that way with IE

All of the above, plus Opera 12.11, disabled all my extensions(Ad Block, Ad Block Plus & NoAds), closed all my applications, re-started, and still can't find no Blinking Ads. XP Home Edition Pentium 4, 3.2G, 4G. I'm not going to re-boot. Yous guies that see blinking ads need to put down the java or bottle.

Just disabled adblock Plus, there are 2 ads that cycle different pictures/text, 12volt-travel.com and TrailerToad.com. Nothing I'd consider blinking having lived through the gaudy banners that came out when flash first got popular.

I just opened my IE8 v 8.0.7600.16385 & still see the iRV2 Sponsor ads between 1st & 2nd thread posts, even with InPrivate Filtering & InPrivate Browsing on.

"Enable Animated Images" checked
"Enable Plug-ins" checked
"Enable JaveScript" checked

Try "NoAds". Don't know if it is available for other browsers, but I have it in Opera.

The completed traceroute above shows reasonable ping times to each network router along the way. Each network router is pinged three times as indicated on each line. If you see a line where the ping times vary widely that could indicate a bottleneck. You may get a network router that responds with "Request timed out" response. That could also indicate a problem.
